Analyst Comments (AC): As the future of kinetic warfare seems to point to drone on drone conflict, the effects of innovation in other domains, such as the cyber domain will become increasingly significant. It is time for warfare leaders to study and understand new power projection concepts as put out by thinkers such as Maj. Jason Lowery. When the concept of Fifth Generation Warfare (5GW) is accounted for, it becomes clear that ‘warfare leaders’ is not restricted to nation-state generals but instead of anyone who has access to survival resources or any size of conglomerations of such individuals. We are on the cusp of significant change with technological revolutions that will have profound impacts on political, economic and social systems.
