-International Events-
1. Julian Assange freed from jail after plea deal with US: Julian Assange was freed from a London prison on Monday after more than five years and will not be extradited to the United States after agreeing to a plea deal with authorities. The WikiLeaks founder agreed to plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to obtain and disclose U.S. national defense information. In return, he is likely to be sentenced to five years and three months time served, which he has spent in London’s Belmarsh Prison since being jailed there in April 2019. He has since boarded a plane bound for his native Australia. (CoinTelegraph)

Iran’s presidential election dominated by Khamenei loyalists: Iranians choose a president on Friday in a tightly controlled election following Ebrahim Raisi’s death in a helicopter crash last month, with the outcome expected to influence the succession to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s top decision-maker. Bitcoin Payments App Strike Enters UK as Global Expansion Rolls Out: Strike, the payments application that uses the Bitcoin blockchain, has started U.K. operations expanding its global reach just months after rolling out in Europe and Africa. -Bitcoin Sentiment-
1. Fear(0)/Greed(100) Index: 30/100 (Down 21 pts)
Analyst Comments (AC): Interesting drop from ‘greed’ to ‘fear’ in the greed/fear index today. Now that owners of bitcoin are not only bitcoin plebs, cypherpunks and insightful whales, but now also institutions, government entities, and general investors, there is now a higher correlation to mainstream financial narratives and world events. In other words, media reports and social media seem to have a higher impact on bitcoin price. Although bitcoiners continue to buy the dips there is a lot more institutional money yielding more power in the price action recently. It seems Bitcoin continues to evolve in society.
